We are happy to take bookings for 4 people and over. No bookings will be taken after 6pm each night - just come down.



We Cook To Order

A Salt & Battery cooks ALL food to order unlike other fish and chip shops which pre-cook their product.
This gives you a superior fish and chip experiance, however increases wait times especially on weekends and busy nights.
Wait times on those busy nights will be given to you upon arrival. These are estimates only as it is impossible for us to give an exact waiting time.



Suggestions To Decrease Wait Times

1. We strongly Suggest that those with small children or limited time come prior to 6pm.
2. If in large groups, order platters to share (see menu)
3. Pre-organise set menu for large groups (8+) prior to arrival.
4. Think about what you want order before you come to counter or call for takeaway.
5. Phone through order (takeaway only)
6. Please check you have your salads and sauces when you pick up your takeaway.
